The duct system is one of the most expensive parts of the air conditioning system and one of the most problematic. Ducts systems are typically run in the attic and experience extreme temperatures. This can result in heat loss and humidity on or within the duct work resulting in mold. Leaks in the duct system can cause loss of efficiency and infiltration of dust pollen and pollutants.
Traditional systems operate at full capacity whether or not it is needed.
With Daikin’s inverter technology one outdoor unit can feed multiple indoor units. Each room can have it’s own air conditioner and cool more efficiently than a traditional central air system. The outdoor unit can produce more or less cooling as it is needed.
